History

PAX is a high-tech, quality driven and schedule reliable fabricator of steel products utilized in the petroleum, chemical, power and other industrial related construction sectors in North America and abroad.

History

Founded in 1979, PAX currently operates two facilities; Gonzales, LA and DeRidder, LA which are comprised of 160,000+ sq/ft of production area seated on approximately 50 acres with completely automated Peddinghaus CNC steel processing equipment in each production environment.

AX uses multiple fabrication bays, buildings and facilities that segregate and optimize all structural steel, plate, pipe and pipe support fabrication ranging from the simplest handrail and ladders to the most complex of heavy structures. PAX has also provided over 300 process and pipe rack modules, skids and major structural assemblies to the industrial marketplace where cost containment and schedule have dictated modular concepts. Our "First of a Kind" manufacturing and material logistics process minimizes the movement of steel during fabrication, thus maximizing the efficiency of personnel as well as production work areas. Our philosophy is aimed at cutting client costs through automation, zero defects and shorter time to market.

PAX has maintained a long-standing relationship with all major E&C's many of which have evolved into Long Term Supply Alliance Agreements, some of which have been in effect since 1983. Our real core value is professional expertise provided by a combination of experience, hard work, and technical competence with a strong customer focus. PAX is an equal opportunity employer.
